BrewDog continues to grow

BrewDog is building a new location for its production plant in Ohio, USA, where it plans to produce all top-fermented and bottom-fermented BrewDog beer brands for the US market.

BrewDog realizes this comprehensive project in cooperation with is long-term partner, Esau & Hueber GmbH, a plant manufacturing company located in Bavaria, Germany.

Esau & Hueber delivers the entire process part such as the malt handling including malt silos amongst other things. The brewhouse with a knockout capacity of 200 hl consists of: mash tuns, lauter tuns, feed pump, wort kettle with external boiler and whirlpool. For wort aeration, the TurboAir by Esau & Hueber has been applied.

Furthermore, a 5-vessel yeast management plant is provided with the double seat valves method for the supply of fresh, selected yeast for the gentle harvesting yeast treatment. The fermentation cellar and storage cellar dispose of a tank capacity of 8200 hl. Esau & Hueber additionally supplies a separator with subsequent layer filter, a bright beer tank cellar, 2 CIP plants and automatisation of the complete system.
